What to do?
What to do around Casa Lanni
Food and drinks?
A lot of good wine cellars, restaurants, and great terraces are close by. Piedmont but especially the Langhe, in particular, are characterized as the Burgundy of Italy. The residents love a good glass of wine and delicious food. The region generates the most beautiful wines of Italy, such as the world-famous Barolo and Barbaresco but also the Barbera, Dolcetto and the Roero Arneis. Less than 15 minutes’ drive from Casa Lanni, there are plenty of wineries to visit for a tasting. We would love to give you some tips! In the nearby Murazzano, the famous regional cheese is being made: the Murazanno cheese. This cheese is produced from sheep’s milk, is briefly ripened and resembles a Toma (cow’s milk). Also, the worldwide “Slow Food movement” also originated in this region. This is an independent organization that is committed to enjoying pure and delicious food, rooted in the gastronomic tradition. Within a 15-kilometer radius, you can choose from dozens of excellent restaurants (from informal and lower price range restaurants to several more upscale and exclusive restaurants). We would be happy to give you a recommendation and to reserve a table for you!
Stay at Casa Lanni for a day at the 12 by 6 meters pool. There are plenty of comfortable sun beds by our swimming pool. If you want something more challenging, there is a big Aquapark in Cacallermaggiore, a 35-minute drive from Casa Lanni. There are different types of high slides and beautiful swimming pools.
About a 30-minute drive from Casa Lanni, the towns Cuneo, Alba, and Bra can be found with many beautiful shops and lovely terraces. The famous cities Turin (60-minute drive) and Genoa (100-minute drive), with fabulous shops, are also within reach of Casa Lanni. We are happy to tell you where you can park and where to find the most beautiful shops and the best restaurants. Furthermore, the famous ‘Mondovicino Outlet Village’ is about a 10-minute drive from Casa Lanni. This outlet center with approximately 80 stores is one of the largest in Italy.
Only a few places in Italy are perfect for rafting. Less than an hour’s drive from Casa Lanni we have found such a place. On a wild water river in the Italian / French Alps, it is very special to experience this activity with your family (children from 12 years), friends or neighbors. Definitely a nice sporty day out with each other.
The Flower Riviera (Ligurian coast) is a series of small villages and towns. Grand boulevards and gorgeous small beaches with mainly Italian tourists. We would be happy to share the yet undiscovered spots with you!
The paths around Casa Lanni are eminently suitable for jogging and hiking. For mountain bikers and cyclists, the routes are fantastic, there is little to no traffic and a beautiful view after every turn. Didn’t bring your own bike? We are happy to arrange an e-bike for you, possibly with a guide if you wish!
